Frank Henry Edgington (1877-1950)

The son of Thomas Edgington & Ellen Cook was born in Worcester. He was a bookbinder and moved from Worcester to Birmingham where he lived for most of his life.

In 1897 he married Amy Elizabeth Roberts in Birmingham Register Office. They had seven children, Amy (1897-1970), Frank (1900-1953), Dorothy (1902-2001), Florence (1903-1991), Elsie (1905), Ethel (1906-1983) and Beatrice.

The eldest daughter, Amy, married Edward Hobbis circa 1920. They had two daughters, Amy & Ethel. Amy & Edward have descendants living in Australia.

Frank  married Lilian Price. He joined the army in 1918 and later worked for Ideal Pram Co. in Birmingham. We think some descendants of Frank may still be living in the Birmingham area.

Ethel (1906-1983).

Elsie married Leslie Charlton in 1933, they had no offspring.

Dorothy (1902-2001, Auntie Dot).
She married Harry Bevan in 1932, they had no offspring.

Florence (1903-1991, Auntie Flos). She married Howard Prickett in 1932. One of their daughters came to the family reunion we held in 1997.

... and of course the baby of the family my grandmother Beatrice (see tab at the top of this page).
